Our day off.

Yesterday was great.

Andy and I took yesterday off of work and spent the day in a town about 40 minutes away with one of my bestfriend's and her boyfriend... on a boat!  We rented a pontoon boat for 1/2 of a day and went out on Lake Superior and cruised around, anchored out and swam.  The water was indeed pretty chilly, but we still went in for a bit. We tried to go out to Miner's Castle because it is gorgeous out there (we've only been on land and looked out at the water) but there were probably about 3ft waves rocking us, so we turned around and went into a bay and hung out there for the rest of the time.  We went over a shipwreck which was pretty sweet. People were diving around it, but we got a chance to literally drive right over the top of it.

It was just perfect. And much needed. We rarely get any adult time by ourselves and have really been trying lately to make sure to do that.  My amazing MIL came over and watched Kennedy so it worked out perfect. I don't know what I'd do without family. They help so much.

Today I am off as well. I had my yearly appointment...  So Kennedy and I are just hanging out today. We are going to doodle with chalk, play in the yard and hopefully I will be able to make some progress with putting some pavers out front. Here's to hoping.

Happy Wednesday!
