I just realized that in 2 1/2 weeks we will be in Orlando. In my normal cray-cray mind I would have already been panicking about the flight there and searching for whatever I will need to keep Kenne occupied on the plane.
Last year we flew with her to Florida and she was AMAZING. But she was young enough still that she would fall asleep at the drop of a hat. So we lucked out. She watched Mickey Mouse on her dvd player and slept the rest of the time. This year I have a feeling it is going to be drastically different. This girl wants to move. And she is very independent. I have a feeling she is going to want to move about and isn't going to take it lightly when we tell her no.

Thankfully, my SIL will also be traveling with us so there will be 3 of us to entertain. Also, we upgraded to the Economy Comfort in order to give us a little more room to work with. She will be able to stand in front of the seat if she wants and our stuff will be a little more spread out.
Traveling with a 2 year old... on a plane. Any go-to toys or tricks I should be writing down???
Last year I did plenty of DVD's, flashcards, snacks and books.
This year I will do all of the above and planned on adding in coloring books, dolls.

I always bring a ton of toys with me and then Liv never plays with them. I did buy her her own pair of headphones and she loved watching tv shows with those on. Other than that....I go into it thinking to myself "be laid back...be laid back". I find if I'm stressed, Liv gets stressed and it never ends well ha. I have to give Liv children's Gravol (I think it's a canadian thing) because she pukes on planes....that helps calm her down a bit.
Ok I don't know how I didn't see this in my reader sooner, but I will be texting you today for sure!! Flying 2200 miles with Kelsey with a 2 hour layover went so well with a few little tricks ;) Jules was easy because as long as she had a DVD player or a movie on the ipad she was happier than a pig in shit! xoxoxo
I hope you have a great trip! I've never flown with my kids. Good luck!
